What to expect?
First Visit:
Your initial consultation appointment will typically last one hour and includes the first treatment. During this session, we will:
- Take a thorough case history of your presenting complaint and overall medical health.
- Conduct a detailed physical examination to assess your nerves, joints, and muscles using neurological, orthopaedic, and functional tests.
Assessment & Treatment Plan:
After the initial evaluation, we will explain our finding and discuss the most suitable treatment options for you. if necessary, we may also refer you to another healthcare professional for further support.
Chiropractic Treatment:
Our treatment primarily involves gentle, specific manipulation to free restricted joints in the spine and extremities. This process often includes a short, controlled thrust to a joint, which may produce an audible “pop” or “click” due to the release of gas bubbles (oxygen and nitrogen) with in the joint.
This technique can help:
- Increase joint range of motion
- Reduce pain and stiffness
We will also provide guidance on exercises and lifestyle changes to support your recovery and long-term well-being. Follow up appointments are approximately 30 minutes.
Claire Morley has been working as a chiropractor in Ripon and Thirsk for over 12 years. Her passion and focus are to help people, then this led Claire to a Masters in Chiropractic, graduating from Anglo-European Collage of Chiropractic.
Claire is fully registered with the professional regulatory body (General Chiropractic Council) and a member of The British Chiropractic Association and The Royal Collage of Chiropractors.
She is enthusiastic about the beneficial effects of chiropractic care on the whole function of the body, with a focused interest in functional rehabilitation and paediatrics. Claire strives to provide researched based centred care. She attends regular seminars which ensures she remains fully updated with the latest research. This all enables her to educate patients which in turn helps them to reach their full potential.
